Our stone built cottage farmhouse is in the quiet hamlet of Chassaignes situated between Riberac & Aubeterre in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne, France.

The farmhouse is not overlooked by others but is situated opposite a typically rural working farm, with geese, chickens and ducks it is a typical French countryside retreat. There is a 15 foot circular splash pool in the garden that is maintained from June onwards. It is large enough for 6/7 to enjoy during the hot weather and is perfect to relax in. It has a pretty courtyard with a shaded verandah and lawned areas to the side and rear. There are unrestored outbuildings opposite the barn surrounded by trees and bushes and a large grassed paddock behind the property. There is also a barbeque area opposite he barn.
